The Best Glamping in Joshua Tree

Some of the best places to stay in Joshua Tree are the spots where you can be outdoors, but still have all the ameneites you need! Glamping in Joshua Tree is the perfect way to add some advenutre to your stay, without going full blown rustic.

Here are some of the best places for glamping in Joshua Tree!

Glamping in a Swinging Bed in Joshua Tree

One of the best things about visiting Joshua Tree is the night sky! The stargazing here is absolutely out of this world, and this unique glamping site has the perfect setup for looking at the stars. The bed is outside, swinging from a wooden post, so that you can have a completely view of the stars. Joshua Tree is usually warm enough to sleep outside, but the property also has a cute Airstream with a bathroom, kitchen, living area, and a bed so you can choose to spend some time inside too!

Autocamp Joshua Tree

Autocamp is one of the best places to stay in Joshua Tree, close to the park, with unique Airstreams that make for a great glamping expereince! Glamping on Hipcamp in Joshua Tree

One of my favorite places to find campsites, and glamping spots, is Hipcamp! It’s basically like Airbnb for camping – people who own land can rent it out, and you can find everything from barebones tent camping sites to fun glamping cabins in Joshua Tree. You can even get $10 off your first booking here!

Best Camping in Joshua Tree

If you’re looking for the best places to stay in Joshua Tree, I definitely recommend considering camping! It can be a fun adventure to add to your trip, and while you can camp in the national park, the best camping in Joshua Tree is more private, and more remote.

Free Camping in Joshua Tree

Some of the best camping in Joshua Tree also happens to be free! Just outside of Joshua Tree National Park, there’s tons of BLM (Beaureau of Land Management) land – which if you don’t know, means you’re allowed to camp there for free, and it’s mostly undeveloped and remote. You’ll find some amazing spots that are far away from everything! I found my favorite spot by exploring on BLM land – I’ve stayed here for days at a time without seeing a single person.

The hard part is knowing where BLM land is – but if you use The Dyrt Pro, you can see the boundaries of public lands, so you know where to find free camping in Joshua Tree, and all over the US. Even with the free version of The Dyrt, you can find campsites!

Hipcamp for Camping in Joshua Tree

Along with using it to find glamping in Joshua Tree, you can also use Hipcamp to find more rustic campsites! There are some awesome places, and because it’s all private land, the spots you find will give you much more solitude in the wild scenery of the desert.
